A modern expression of the vocal method taught by the italian vocal masters of the 17th/18th century, this method was introduced by Judith Litante in her book "A Natural Approach to Singing" Oxford Press (London 1962). Anthony Plumer is one of the last living direct students of J. Litante.
The method emphasizes simple and regular therapeutic vocalizing with a strong focus on relaxation, to develop a free and unrestricted vocal production. Singers, actors, and speakers can benefit from learning simple and enjoyable vocal exercises that free the vocal instrument from strain and discomfort.
This method is applicable to many musical singing styles, as well as for acting, public speaking, and choral singing.
